Frequently asked questions about certifications

What is the OSCP?
The OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) is the world's most recognized pentesting certification. Issued by OffSec, its 24-hour practical exam requires compromising real machines and documenting findings. It is the industry standard for junior pentesters and the most requested certification in offensive security job offers. Price in 2026 is €1,499 including PEN-200 course access and one exam attempt.
How much does the OSCP certificate cost?
The OSCP certificate costs €1,499 in 2026. It includes 90 days of PEN-200 lab access and one exam attempt. Retakes cost €249 each. The investment pays off through salary increases: OSCP-certified pentesters earn €55,000-85,000 annually in Spain.
How much does the OSCP course cost?
The OSCP course (PEN-200) costs €1,499 with 90 days of lab access. Additional options: 60 days for €1,199, 180 days for €2,099, and the one-year Learn One package for €2,599 including two exam attempts. The course is 100% online, self-paced and requires 3-6 months of intensive study.
Which is better, CEH or OSCP?
OSCP is far superior to CEH for pentesting. OSCP's 100% practical 24-hour exam proves real exploitation capability, while CEH's exam is mostly theoretical multiple-choice. OSCP is what cybersecurity companies demand when hiring; CEH is valued mainly in public administration. Similar price (€1,499 vs €1,099), far better return with OSCP.
